Update, 2/3/23: The hotel has informed us that our convention’s reserved block of discounted rooms at the Station Square Sheraton has fully sold out. The hotel is impressed with how quickly our attendees filled it up!
We are looking into overflow options with the hope of negotiating a similar room rate to the Station Square Sheraton, but a few months ago Taylor Swift announced two shows in Pittsburgh on June 16th and 17th. In turn, this has led to a lot of booked hotels in the area, and a rising urgency in securing reservations for your stay early.
We will reach out again if we are able to secure an overflow hotel. If someone cancels their room, it will open up again on the Station Square Sheraton website, but with nearly 500 people already registered for the convention, we encourage those without a room yet to look into nearby alternative options as soon as possible. For those who reserve at the Sheraton Station Square, the HWA has secured a special discounted con rate of $164/night, which applies only from Wednesday through Sunday (6/14-18, 2023). Check in time is 4PM.
Overnight parking at the hotel is $30.
